Our goal is to help support transgender kids, teens and adults who live in Renfrew County, Ontario, by sourcing locally donated clothing and gender-affirming gear on a one-to-one, custom-need basis.
Clothing that affirms one's gender can be a lifeline that dramatically increases the quality of everyday life. Let us help to ease the barriers and make your journey a little smoother. You are not alone.

WHY DOES THE CLOTHESLINE MATTER? Research shows that having access to social transition tools (clothing, name, pronoun, etc.) is vital to improving the lives of trans youth and adults who wish to transition. In a recent survey with trans youth across Canada, those who were living full-time in their felt gender were almost 50% more likely to report good or excellent mental health than those who were not (Veale et al., 2015). |
Donate to the Clothesline

We source donations of new and gently used clothing on an as-requested basis to meet the specific needs of each individual. We do not have storage facilities and cannot accept unsolicited donations of clothing.
FINANCIAL DONATIONS: We welcome your donations via etransfer to renfrewcountyon@pflagcanada.ca or via Canada Helps/Family & Children's Services of Renfrew County. Please specify that your donation is for In Transition Clothesline.
GIFT CARDS: These may be dropped off at one of the locations listed opposite, or contact Pflag Renfrew County to make other arrangements. |
